Generation II Treadmill/Speed Training

Used to better your running form and technique as well as increase speed and overall endurance. This Generation II Super Treadmill may look like an industrial version of the standard treadmills available on the market today, but it performs like a finely tuned training instrument.  Standard treadmills can’t produce either the speed or the stability that our treadmills provide. They are too variable, too soft, too short in the runway and provide no sensory input to the runner. Plus, our treadmills don’t bounce or slip like standard treadmills, so the forces you experience are the same as they are on the field, on the court or on the track.

While you run in front of a mirror, you’ll notice the motor is positioned below the belt, so that it doesn’t interfere with your view for your feet in motion. This provides instant visual feedback on your running form. You and your trainer can see what your feet are doing, how they’re landing and taking off. This means that you can see the change when our trainer tells you to keep your toes up or lift your knees higher. You then can create, with your trainer by your side, a new and more efficient style of running and you can sense the change.

With incline possible to 40-percent grades and decline to 10-percent grades, ranging 0 to 28 miles per hour in less than three seconds, you will be safely challenged to a level that matches your ability and progress. Research shows that incline running recruits the muscles responsible for forward acceleration at a level 3x higher than level running. You will learn to produce more power during each stride, during both push-off and recovery all for that vital burst needed for success. The treadmill can also be calibrated to reduce knee stress by 30 to 60 percent, easing the impact to your body and providing additional shock absorption for any size athlete It also has a specially-designed spotting mechanism and handlebar for backward running.
