Summit's high-performance Generation II treadmills may look like industrial versions of the standard treadmills you find in most other gyms, but they perform like finely tuned training instruments. Capable of inclines as high as 40% grades and speeds up to 29 mph (compared to the 15% and 12 mph of standard models), they are built to provide a wide range of training conditions to both challenge and assist our athletes in becoming stronger, faster and more efficient runners. Research shows that incline running at high speeds recruits the muscles responsible for forward acceleration and power output up to 3 times greater than flat running!!!
